Come walk in the footsteps of some of the world's most exciting composers. The group will be guided by Dr David Nelson, music professor at University of North Carolina at Greensboro and published author of the most comprehensive book(Vienna for the Music Lover) about musical sites in Vienna Dr. Nelson is also in the process of writing a similar book about Salzburg as well. This trip will include 4 nights in Vienna, a 3 day cruise on the Danube to Budapest and 2 nights in Budapest. At least 2 meals per day are included as are all of your concert and museum entrance fees and tickets(SEE BELOW), your intercity transportation and your hotel fees and transports to and from the ship. Staying at 5-star hotels, and cruising on the youngest fleet of ships in Europe with Avalon Waterways this will be a luxury trip to remember. You will arrive in Vienna and do tours of Vienna with concerts, operas, orchestra rehearsals, Vienna Boys Choir, touring the many wonderful music sites of Vienna with Dr Nelson until you board the Avalon Tapestry for a relaxed 3 day cruise on the Danube with stops at Melk, Durnstein, Bratislava, and Budapest. Do a city tour of Budapest in the morning of your arrival with the group . You will spend 2 days touring Budapest and attend musical venues there both nights as well. You depart for home . Cost of the trip is projected at $3125pp including everything except your airfare to Vienna and home from Budapest . We are also offering a 3 day pre-trip tour of Salzburg. You will arrive in Salzburg . You will tour with Dr Nelson through some of the most famous music sites in the world. Your 3 night stay at a 5-star hotel and at least 2 meals a day are included. All of your concert tickets and museum entrance fees are also included. Your transportation from Salzburg to Vienna to met up with the Group is also included. The Salzburg pre-trip is projected at $950pp. Look for final details of the trip in mid June 2012. We are limiting the group to 30 people to insure that everyone will feel pampered in all venues. It is first come/first served.
